Dr Buntin-Becker & her husband first lived on Chestnut. Their dental practice was in one of the Ripley buildings. They moved into their home at 6769 Fieldhouse Way when son Bob was 2 (ca 1927). She was one of the first female dentists. Ann Buntin-Becker Park, bordered by lanes and garages behind Beech St, Murray Ave, Oak St, and Chestnut St, was named for her. Dr Buntin-Becker ran her practice from the renovated garage behind her home, and raised her children in Mariemont. Her son Bob followed in her footsteps, becoming a dentist, operating from the same office, and raising his family in the home on Fieldhouse Way. |
